Hey - I would like some advice on a response. I've been chatting with this girl for about 2 months. We've had great conversations and the dates we've gone on where very fun. There's definitely something there, but she lives kinda far away, but that never really bothered us. I've included our recent back and forth after her deciding to stop things. No hard feelings at all.
Her: "So I want to be completely honest with you. I was dating around the time we met. I had also met someone else and things have developed a bit further at this point. I was trying to figure things out because I think you are a really great guy. I have really enjoyed talking with you and spending time with you but at this point it doesn’t seem right to continue things. I hope you that you know that I never meant for it to happen this way."
Me: "No problem at all, I really enjoyed getting to know you and wish you nothing but the best."
Her: "I’m not sure I am making the right decision and selfishly hope we don’t completely lose touch. Maybe our paths will cross again in the future."
Now I don't know if or what I should reply with. I'm open to her reaching out in the future if she wants, but i don't want to come off like I'm waiting around, cause I'm not. I want her to know that though.
Any helpful comments/replies would be great!
