You are a valuable human being. Incredibly worthwhile. Even if your car backfires, smells like a dying camel, and doesn't have A.C., I'd still drive it to get to work. Your car is valuable even when it's a piece of crap. The good news is you're soo much more interesting than a car. Even though I am beat up, stranded, but not forgotten, and hurt but not destroyed, I still have hope, because I know that Jesus still loves me, even in my broken state.
For God demonstrates his love for us in this, while we were still sinners Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8
Even if you feel like you've got parts missing, you are still wildly worthwhile. God still cares about you, and I sure do too.
Try to avoid time spent on the pity pot. You can spend some time feeling sorry for yourself. It's ok to be bummed out when things don't go your way. Make a habit to find solutions. You want a friend? Keep looking for one. I've wanted a girlfriend for a long time. I spent a couple of years hitting on random girls and getting told no more times than I care to admit. It built up a lot of confidence. Now I can talk to beautiful women with more self-assurance and feel awesome doing it. If I hadn't put in the hours hitting on random women, I wouldn't be in the decent spot I'm in now.
Also, you might consider joining a local church. Churches are meant to be your family; churches aren't for perfect people. Churches are for the broken people, who are in need of a family.
